The next thing that I am going to do is talk about the best Duke players and their coach. One of the things that I was think about was, what are some of the best players for Duke. So I found out what were the top three players for Duke and why. The first person that I am going to talk about is Bobby Hurley. He played from 1989-93 and he was 6ft tall. For his points he averaged about 12.4 a game. Also he averaged 2.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists. He is always intense, tough-minded player, Hurley went to the final four three times, and lead the Blue Devils to back-to-back NCAA Championships in 1991 and 1992. He was selected as the final four Most Outstanding player in 1992 and a first team All-American in 1993. The next player that I am going to talk about is Grant Hill. He played from 1990-94 and was 6'8''. He averaged 14.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. Grant Hill is considered by some as one of the best All-Around players in his era. He won the NABC top defensive player of the year award in 1993, and in 1994 he was named the ACC player of the year. The last person that I am going to talk to you about is Duke's number one player, Christian Laettner. He played from 1988-92 and was a 6'11'' beast. He had averaged 16.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He lead the school to the first and second NCAA titles. Laettner won every 1992 Player of the Year award known to man as a senior.
